Aunt Mary's Pumpkin Pie
Yield: 2 pies | Aunt Mary's Pumpkin Pie |
4 eggs | Beat eggs then add sugar, flour mixture, then pumpkin, milk, |
1c sugar | salt,and vanilla. Add melted butter last. Mix well. |
2c pumpkin (16oz can) | Divide filling between 2 deep dish pie crusts. For a crispier |
1c milk | crust, bake the crust for a few minutes before pouring in |
1T flour | the filling. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or |
1 stick butter, melted | until done. |

2 sticks margarine | Melt margarine, add cocoa, eggs, flour, salt and sugar. |

Buttermilk Cake

Old Fashioned Red Velvet Cake

2 1/2c plain flour | |
1c buttermilk | Cream sugar and Wesson oil. Add eggs, beat well. Sift |
1 1/2c sugar | together flour, salt, and soda. Put cocoa, vinegar, and red |
2c Wesson oil | food coloring in a cup. Mix well and add to sugar mixture. |
1t vinegar | Beat well. Add milk, flour and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. |
1t baking soda | Pour into two greased and floured cake pans. Bake at |
1t salt | 350 degrees for 30-45 min (or until done). Baking time |
1t vanilla extract | can vary depending on humidity and altitude. Cool cakes |
1T cocoa | completely before frosting. |

1c evaporated milk | In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine, |
