my pantry and baking recipes

Yeild: 1 cake	*Red Velvet Cake*
2 1/2c plain flour
1c buttermilk	Cream sugar and Wesson oil. Add eggs, beat well. Sift
1 1/2c sugar	together flour, salt, and soda. Put cocoa, vinegar, and red
2c Wesson oil	food coloring in a cup. Mix well and add to sugar mixture.
1t vinegar	Beat well. Add milk, flour and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
1t baking soda	Pour into two greased and floured cake pans. Bake at
1t salt	350 degrees for 30-45 min (or until done). Baking time
1t vanilla extract	can vary depending on humidity and altitude. Cool cakes
1T cocoa	completely before frosting.
2T red food coloring
2 eggs	Frosting
	1 stick oleo 1T vanilla extract
	1 box conf. Sugar 1c nuts
	1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, at room temp
	Blend together oleo, sugar, and cream cheese. Add vanilla
	and nuts. Beat until spreadable consistency.

Yield: depends on size of	*Old Fashioned Tea Cakes*

1/2 c butter	Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add soda
1c sugar	to buttermilk and dissolve. Add all ingredients to flour and
1 egg	mix. Roll into cookie shapes and bake at 400 degrees until
1/4c buttermilk	brown or desired doneness (I don't like them quite as brown)
1t baking soda
1t vanilla extract
3 1/2 -4c flour

2c sugar
2c flour	Sift sugar and flour together. Boil butter, cocoa, and cola.
1c buttermilk	Pour over flour and sugar, mixing together. Dissolve soda in
3T cocoa	buttermilk and pour into the flour mixture, mixing well.
1c coca cola	Add in eggs, vanilla, and marshmallows. Mix thoroughly
1t baking soda	and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch cake pan.
1/2c buttermilk	Bake for about 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven (or until
2 eggs, beaten	done)
1t vanilla extract
1 1/2c miniature marshmallow	Coca Cola Icing
	1/2cbutter 1 box confectioner's sugar
	3Tcocoa 1t vanilla extract
	6T coca cola 1c chopped pecans

	Bring to boil the butter, cocoa, and cola. Add sugar, vanilla,
	and pecans. Pour over cake in the pan while icing is hot.
